Aussie families pick their fav resorts for 2007

Holidays with Kids have just released their top 10 list of favourite resorts for Australian families in their new summer edition.

Queensland and Fiji resorts came out on top as the best destinations for resorts, with the Sunshine state scooping all ten spots in the Top 10 domestic resorts, and Fiji scoring five of the top 10 international resorts.

The number one Australian resort suited to families was given to the Paradise Resort on the Gold Coast, and the number one international family resort was awarded to the Fijian Shangri-La Yanuca Island.

“Our latest Top 10 survey shows beach resorts are still the number one holiday experience for Australian families, with parents and kids seeking sun, sand and surf to spend quality time together,” said Cathy Wagstaff, Holidays with Kids Editor.

“There is no more reliable inspector of a family-friendly resort than a parent and of course the harshest critics of all are children themselves who are very fussy when it comes to living it up away from home.

“The results of our annual survey, therefore, should come in handy to other families seeking an ideal holiday destination,” she adds.
