A great country experience

Situated on 1,200 acres of rugged bushland near Glen Innes, Bullock Mountain Homestead is a perfect place to enjoy that family getaway or retreat. We provide self-contained, self-catering accommodation in caravans, single accommodation in our bunkhouse or double accommodation. You can self-cater or we'll do it for you.

Although horse riding is our main activity, there is plenty of room for outdoor games like cricket or totem tennis. You can also take a stroll down to the creek, up onto the mountain or just be a lounge lizard. There is plenty of bird life and wildlife to look at, and the Reddestone Creek is just waiting for you to find a sapphire. Yabbies can be caught seasonally and the nightly campfire is always a popular event.

Double room: From $44.00 per day for self-catering guests.

Family room: Rates on application depending on self-catering or fully catered needs.

Child policy: Fully catered rates per day vary with ages of children.

DIRECTIONS: Take the New England Highway to Glen Innes. Look for the Gwydir Highway sign to Inverell. Follow approx. 1½ km to Emmaville, Bonshaw, Airport sign (Coronation Ave). Turn right and follow approx 4 km. Turn right at Bullock Mountain Road sign – gravel road (if you reach the airport you have gone too far). Following Bullock Mountain Road to the end – 12 km. Total distance from Glen Innes Post Office is approx. 18 km.
