 Chesleigh is a stunning part of Australia with its natural unspoilt forests, mountain lookouts, gold bearing creeks, the old Cobb & Co coach road and beautiful riverside scenery, we really do have something for every member of the family.
We accommodate about 5 families, large enough for a great social atmosphere, yet small enough to retain that personal touch to make a holiday special.
Mike, an actor in his youth, has the children spellbound on bushwalks, goldpanning trips and on the horserides and treks, not to mention the after dinner entertainment.
Our tennis courts, hot spa and pool, games room with all the good old fashioned games, campfire each evening, massage and lots of comfy chairs on the verandahs cater from the youngest to the oldest member of the family, or from the most active to the laziest!
Our meals are good old fashioned country cooking, nutritious, delicious and designed to cater for appetites built up over a day of fresh air and activity.
Our accommodation is not 5 star, we know that. It is rustic, comfortable beds, clean, feather doonas,wide verandahs, all set in lovely gardens surrounded by our stunning scenery and the character and good times that go with the casual ambience we have created.
Although you needn’t go anywhere near a horse on a Chesleigh holiday, if horseriding is your thing we do it very well. Pony treks for the little ones which actually go out into the bush, good instuctionsl rides for those whose skills range from ‘I can do a bit more’, to ‘I can really ride.’ Our horse are lovely and the trails varied and beautiful.
