With its magnificent secluded coastline, clean water, clear air and unhurried pace, a visit to Bay of Plenty Lodges, reached after a 13 kilometre drive through the rainforests of Booderee (Jervis Bay) National Park, provides a rare escape from the stresses of modern life. The sound of the ocean replaces the noise of traffic, native wildlife abounds as kangaroos hop through the grounds and native parrots skim through trees, the backdrop is of forest not buildings.

Bay of Plenty Lodges offers stylish 1, 2 & 3 bedroom self contained cottages, cabins and units ranging from comfortable to luxurious, all fully equipped including linen, bath towels, cutlery and crockery and all opening onto covered decks.
 
Facilities include a central bbq area and childrens' playground as well as direct beach access and a boat ramp.

Bay of Plenty Lodges derives its name from the Aboriginal word "Booderee" meaning 'bay of plenty' or 'plenty of fish' and is surrounded by Booderee National Park, offering the opportunity for many recreational activities in a magnificent unspoilt setting. Towering sandstone coastal cliffs guard eucalypt and rainforests from the awesome might of the ocean, tranquil waterways are a short walk through coastal heath from surfing beaches.

Bay of Plenty Lodges relaxed atmosphere and tranquil beachfront location surrounded by national park lead most guests to enjoy the simple pleasures of swimming, bushwalking, boating, reading and in the evening meeting fellow guests at the central barbecue facilities.

DIRECTIONS 
From Sydney (Distance approximately 200 km, travel time 2.5 to 3.5 hours):
Take the Princes Highway south to Wollongong, Kiama and Nowra to the Jervis Bay Road Turnoff approximately 10km south of Nowra. Turn left into Jervis Bay Road then 

From Canberra (Distance approximately 280 km, travel time 3 to 4 hours):
Take the Kings Highway through Bungendore and Braidwood to Batemans Bay, then travel north along the Princes Highway to Tomerong. At Tomerong take the right turn to Huskisson and Jervis Bay and turn right again into Jervis Bay Road then 

Once on Jervis Bay Road follow it to the National Park gatehouse and Tourist Information Centre - 75 metres past the gatehouse turn right into Ellmoos Road (signposted to Bay of Plenty Lodges) and follow this road for 13km, bearing left at each intersection to Bay of Plenty Lodges.
