Brilliant position with central atrium overlooking the magnificent Broadwater. Set right on the Broadwater beachfront, the four and a half star Atrium Resort labels itself as a luxury family retreat, obviously presuming that the younger family members need heaps of entertaining.
It takes its name from the large central tropical gardens that form the centrepiece to the six-storey complex, complete with fish ponds and glass lifts. Most apartments have spectacular views of the Broadwater and Gold Coast from their large balconies.
Atrium Resort doesn’t do things by halves. Each apartment has two colour televisions, two phones, two bathrooms – all with their own private in-room spa.
There is a heated pool and spa on the rooftop affording superb 360 degree views of the Broadwater, Gold Coast and hinterland. There are tropical gardens and entertainment areas as well as an outdoor pool, floodlit tennis courts, games room (complete with full-size billiard table), in-house cable TV, saunas and gym. In addition to the licensed kiosk, the resort boasts the famous Mano, noted on the Gold Coast for his fine cuisine, who runs the BYO restaurant five nights a week.
The Atrium has a uniqueness about it. The wonderful ambience starts as you enter the foyer and progress through the atrium with its wonderful gardens and quaint bridge wooden bridge that leads to the restaurant.
Only 10-15 minutes to Dreamworld, Movieworld, Wet 'n' Wild and Seaworld. Close to Harbour Town discount outlet shopping and Reading Cinemas, Runaway Bay Shopping Centre, fishing, boating, jet and water skiing and cruises. Only 15 minutes' walk along the waterfront to Charis Seafoods, swimming lagoon and parks and the new Grand Hotel complex and restaurants.
