Kingfisher Bay Resort,  Fraser Island

family fun & adventure on Fraser

Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island is the perfect place to get together with family or friends for a relaxing holiday.

There is heaps to do for all ages. You can explore the wonders of Fraser Island in your own four-wheel drive or the resort has expert rangers to take you bush walking and on 4WD adventure tours and marine cruises. Go swimming, boating, fishing or simply relax and enjoy good food and wine.

Kids have fun and learn about the environment with our Junior Eco Ranger program available on weekends and school holidays. The program is designed to show children how to care about the environment in a fun way. It involves open exploration and play in the natural environment and scientific investigation of the natural environments, like water testing various areas.

Voted runner-up in the ‘Family Friendly’ resort category in the 2008 International Restaurant and Hotel Awards and ‘Best Family-Focused Tourism Operator’ for 2008 by readers of The Australian newspaper, Kingfisher Bay Resort’s holiday program makes family vacations more than memorable – allowing the kids time to discover the environment whilst the parents relax and take time out for themselves.
