I chose to stay at Treasure Island when we visited Fiji 7 years ago with my then 3 year old daughter. It was simply amazing.....the island itself was so beautiful, quiet and relaxed with no tv, radio or loud music played throughout the day.
Accommodation was a beautiful beach side bure, so waking in the morning sun and gazing over the ocean was, to me, sheer bliss. The kids club was there and for the Fijians being a beautiful person comes naturally so Miss 3 did enjoy a few hours with these people feeding iguana flowers and assisting with the nurturing of baby sea turtles, but I do enjoy time with my children so didn't use the kids club alot.
Having said that I did take advantage having Miss 3 babysat one night and when she did wake early in the evening the lovely babysitter brought her to me almost immediately and once settled all was perfect.
The fact that the reef surrounded the ocean was so wonderful. I purchased a pair of goggles for Miss 3 and we spent the days discovering the beauty of a coral reef, the vibrant colours, huge variety of fish and we will never forget those incredible blue starfish with were so abundant there.
We did go to the mainland as well as tour to the Yasawa Islands and they are all trips we remeber with much fondness.
I can't speak highly enough of this resort and do plan to take both my girls there soon as my younger daughter is always asking when i will take her.

When I just read that you were after Fiji Stories I couldn't rept quick enough! I love Fiji, our favourite family holiday destination!! We have been there twice, we have stayed at The Outrigger on the main land and Treasure Island!!! We could not reccomend either more highly and both, though very different experiences, are equally amazing family stays!
Both have childrens programs, swimming pools, a number of restaraunts and so so so much more! The swimming pools at the Outrigger could not be topped anywhere in the world! And the atmosphere on Treasure Island is one you and your children will saddened to leave!
We have been in November both times and the weather has been perfact as well as water temperature... oh the snorkeling was amazing, the fish know they are safe and they swim along with you!
We never wanted to leave, the Fijian people are the most kind, relaxed people you will ever meet and you will leave feeling resfreshed, loved and INSPIRED!
I want to go back!
