Situated on secluded Jimbaran Beach which is recognized as Bali's best white sand beach, and located on the "right side" of the island so as to take full advantage of the famous romantic sunsets, the InterContinental Resort Bali is set amidst thirty-five acres of lush, beautifully landscaped gardens.

This five-star diamond resort features six outdoor swimming pools, two tennis courts, two squash courts, marine sports centre and beach activities, a health club and spa (Uluwatu Villa Retreat) and a comprehensive children's activity centre. The Resort provides a VIKs (Very Important Kids) service to keep both children and parents happy. Open daily between 9.00 am and 7.00 pm, the childcare centre features a central playroom, arts and crafts room, meals room, bathroom, sleeping room with baby change table as well as children's pool, sandpits and outdoor playground.

Kids also get a chance to learn a little more about the Balinese culture and way of life. The Balinese dress-up with local costumes and Balinese dancing, both of which are fun activities, helps impart some feel of the island to the children. On other days, there are face-painting sessions and even a tour to bake cookies at the Resort's bakery.

For older children who may be bored with some of these activities, scuba-diving, squash or tennis lessons can be arranged.
