Hawaiian Airlines and Virgin Blue have entered into a new partnership to provide Australian customers with easier connections to Hawaii.
Under that partnership, Hawaiian Airlines will offer their customers a special add-on fare with Virgin Blue from 16 ports around Australia. This will mean that customers can connect from their embarkation point to one of Hawaii Airline’s three weekly flights form Sydney to Honolulu.
Passengers travelling to Hawaii can also check-in their luggage from their embarkation point and reclaim it in Honolulu, without the need to move it around in between. They can also take a free transfer coach from within the Virgin Blue terminal in Sydney to the international terminal.
Hawaiian Airlines
Hawaii's largest airline since its founding in 1929, Hawaiian Airlines today serves 20 U.S. and international destinations in the Pacific region, including Sydney.
Hawaiian has consistently been rated one of the "10 Best" U.S. airlines by Zagat Survey and readers of Condé Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure, and most recently was rated the seventh best domestic carrier in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2005 Readers’ Choice Awards—higher than any other carrier serving Hawaii.
In another testament to the quality of Hawaiian Airlines' in-flight service, Condé Nast Traveler's Business Travel Awards for 2005 ranked Hawaii's biggest and longest-serving carrier as having the best meals in premium class in the U.S.A.
