Castaway Island Fiji's location at the heart of
Mamanuca Island group makes it ideal for island activities.
There’s a kids’ club with nature-based play for children
over three years, plus plenty of activities for the whole
family to enjoy together, include snorkelling, parasailing,
waterskiing, surfing, island tours and swimming at the two
freshwater pools. Parents might like to slip away for some
down time with an island-style massage, either in tropical
gardens, on the beach or in your own bure. Up to 10

Plantation Island Resort caters for all ages with its
expansive list of activities. Kids will enjoy the Coconut Kids’
Club and daily activities including coconut boat making,
pineapple cracking, crab racing and Meke performances.
For teens, the Lairo Club offers activities including
kayaking, water polo, touch rugby and mini-golf. There are
also two playgrounds, a water park and bike riding on offer
for some sunshine, and parents can make use of the
resort’s 24-hour nanny service to enjoy a little alone time.

Families who’ve ventured to this secluded Pacific Ocean
oasis seem to have nothing but praise to sing about its

we’re not surprised to see it appear once again this year.

This place is a diving family’s dream come true. If you’re already licensed, this is a great destination, with more than 20 great dive sites close to Treasure Island waiting to be discovered. You’ll see little reef sharks, Hawksbill turtles and lion fish around the place, and Salamander is a great wreck dive. If you’re new, not to worry – you can learn on site and with all that beauty around, it's well worth it! There’s heaps of dining available and well-appointed, comfortable rooms on the beachfront to fit families. |
