10 reasons why Hamilton Island is perfect for families

Located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands, this picturesque island is a tropical playground for any family seeking rest, relaxation and exploration.

Hamilton Islandís childcare centre is open to little ones as young as six weeks all the way up to 14 years of age. This makes for a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some much deserved adults-only relaxation time, knowing the kids are in great hands with the professional and fully qualified staff at Clownfish Club. Children have the opportunity to participate in fun-filled activities while making new friends on the island. There is a private babysitting service available should you wish to enjoy a dinner for two.

4. Enter the Twilight Zone

This kidsí adventureland can be found at the Bougainvillea Marquee (next to the Bougainvillea pool) with fun activities for kids and teens. Hamilton Island is the perfect base to explore the Great Barrier Reef and stunning Whitehaven Beach. Whether you wish to explore these natural wonders by boat, seaplane or helicopter, there is certain to be a tour to suit everyone.
