More than shopping
Discover a world of family fun wherever you are in the USA. Simon Shopping Destinations are everywhere you go, with over 100 world-class locations across the States, in and around major destinations.
Shopping is a favourite pastime for Australians visiting the US, although it might appeal more to parents than restless kids. For travelling families, striking a balance between retail therapy and action-packed adventures is essential. Fortunately, Simon Mills has this equilibrium down to art, offering great entertainment and attractions for all ages, plus delicious dining options to suit every taste.
The Outlets at Orange
Combine a trip to nearby Disneyland with an afternoon of laid-back fun in this beautiful open-air centre. Shoppers can take advantage of both outlet and retail stores, and the whole family can immerse themselves in the movies at the AMC 30 Movie Theatre with IMAX or challenge themselves at the Vans Skate Park, one of the largest indoor skate parks in Southern California. There are various courses and ramps, and you can rent boards and equipment, or even take private lessons. There’s also Lucky Strike Bowling, Dave & Buster’s restaurant and arcade, a Burke Williams Day Spa and the amazing Thrill It Fun Center for kids, including laser tag, the Adrenaline Arcade, a high ropes challenge, a three-level interactive Ballocity, rock climbing and a mechanical bull. There are also over 25 restaurants, bars and cafés, including a BJ’s Restaurant Brewery, where parents can try the award-winning hand-crafted beers. If you can fit in any shopping after all that, you’ll find a host of popular designer and name-brands in the complex, such as Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, GAP and H&M. Teens with a passion for fashion can refine their style at favourites like Aéropostale, Forever 21, Zumiez or sports brands such as the Nike Factory Store and Puma Outlet.
