The cogs have been in motion for a while now with soon-to-be-released Cowabunga Bay. Unfortunately their opening date has been pushed back to August 2014, but trust us, it’ll be worth the wait for this Las Vegas family escape. The theme and inspiration for the park has been drawn from the whimsical and fun surf scene of the 50s and 60s eras so you’re in for atmospheric overload. There is set to be three main areas, “Aloha Shore”, “Surf City U.S.A” and “Boardwalk Beach” – each that will contain exciting water rides, relaxing spaces and an unbeatable selection of food choices. You’ll especially have to scout out the Cowabunga Kids Cove and the Beach Blanket Bingo for some perfect family fun.
