For the kids Trainworks has fun interactive activities and an enormous outdoor play and picnic area. Challenge them to conquer the 7m high climbing frame, if they dare. School Holiday programs vary each period and are sure to keen the little ones entertained, whether it's a photography workshop or a hands-on art class, there's always something exciting to do.
Sundays are dedicated to Trainworks' heritage locomotives. On any Sunday throughout the year, you can travel to Trainworks and get whisked back into an era of rail transport. Live steam train rides run between March and November, and the rail motor or a diesel locomotive throughout summer. Take a trip back in time, where rail was all the rage.
If you've got a big family, Trainworks is the ideal place to visit. Family ticket price covers two adults and up to four children plus allchildren under the age of five are free! There is so much room to let the kids run riot while you enjoy the largest collection of rolling stock in Australia.

Trainworks is open 7 days a week, with heritage train rides every Sunday. Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am -5pm.
