Dinner Plain is a modern and family friendly village with boasting over 200 lodges and chalets, B & B and motel style accommodation. Ski Season 2006 will see the opening of the new Day Spa, a perfect place to unwind and relax.

The winter season provides a range of activities and events including downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoe shuffles and snowplay. For the snow bunnies, there is a gentle downhill ski slope with poma lift for beginners and a regular shuttle bus connecting Dinner Plain to Mount Hotham several times a day during ski season. A comprehensive ski hire service, and a ski school are also located in the village.
Have a fun-filled family day out exploring the extensive cross-country trail network that meanders around the village, or if you’re feeling adventurous take on the 11-kilometre journey between Dinner Plain and Mt Hotham. How to get there
Dinner Plain is on the Great Alpine Road, 375 km or approximately 4 ½ hours from Melbourne via the Hume Freeway or Princes Highway.
The Hotham Airport located 10 km from Dinner Plain is open during ski season. Regular flight services are available with Qantas and charter operators from Sydney and Melbourne.
Daily coach services operate from Sydney and Melbourne, transfers available from Mt Hotham during ski season.
