Thredbo have captured the magic of the snow, mixed it with a fun team of kids’ specialists and created one of Australia’s best on-snow children’s learning centres for littlies aged from three years old.

Thredboland is one of the best children’s ski programs in the country. The specially trained indoor and outdoor team teach, nurture and guide this age group, as they do need extra special attention. The all-day program is specifically designed to take children through the stages of skiing in a professional yet fun, safe and happy environment.

Under three
If the little ones are not up to the full day program the "It’s All About Me" private one-hour lesson is the ideal way to give the kids 100% attention and fast-track their learning.

Three to four year olds
For young skiers aged three to four years, there is now a maximum group size of four, giving the kids increased teacher time and that little extra attention.

Five to six years - skiing
Thredboland’s Ski Program offers both half- and full-day lessons teaching the basics of skiing while having fun exploring the mountain. The day also includes meals and incorporates fun themes and activities for the kids to enjoy.

Four to six years - snowboarding
Thredbo offers the Burton Riglets Program for little snowboarding shredders. Specially designed boards, handpicked instructors and a mini terrain park will see the kids have fun and progress quickly.

Seven to 14 years - freeriders
Choose to either ski or snowboard, or even make a switch mid-week. During this full-day program instructors teach the kids all the fresh moves and tweak their skills to have them quickly cruising with confidence, while ensuring the safety aspects of snow sports are covered. This program incorporates a parks program for kids to hone their skills.

Seven to 12 years - three hour lessons
This fun and dynamic afternoon group lesson is a great way for kids to improve their snow skills and explore more of the mountain.

13 to 17 years - teen sessions
This three-hour afternoon program is for teens who want to hang out with other same-aged skiers and boarders while cruising the mountain with some of the best instructors in Thredbo.
