 At Black Mountain in Canberra, CSIRO have established the Discovery centre, a major tourist attraction for visitors to the ACT. Discovery is a 6,000 square metre complex which contains an exhibition hall, spectacular atrium, cafeteria, lecture theatre and The Green Machine science education centre and junior laboratories.
 At Discovery you can experience the many facets of research which touch our daily lives. There is an exciting, interactive exhibition (aimed at people over 12 years of age) covering topics such as gene technology; food and nutrition; new technologies; medical advances; the new age sheep and alternative forms of energy.
