Springfield Trails is a small, boutique horse riding farm on the Central Coast with 25 well-educated ponies and horses suited to all ages and riding abilities.
Trail Rides
Our fully escorted rides allow you to see a wonderful variety of scenery and terrain from the floor of the beautiful Yarramalong Valley to the stunning Watagan Mountain Trails.
 Riding through the ancient and unspoilt bushland, the sights, smells and sounds of a variety of native fauna and flora constantly change. Along these undulating trails, there is ample opportunity to trot and canter if you wish. From the memorable views atop the mountain clearings, we venture off the beaten track, exploring side paths and ridges.
Each trail ride is tailored to the customer offering a friendly and fun experience in a safety-conscious environment. With experienced guides to help you, both children and adults can be assured a pleasant and enjoyable time, either as a one-off, special occasion or a regular outing for the family.
Holiday Camps
In the school holidays, we also offer 5-day residential camps for those kids who would like to learn more about riding and caring for horses.
During the camp, the kids “own” their pony or horse and are taught, then responsible for, feeding, grooming, tacking up, general care and riding for the duration of their stay.
Qualified instructors help budding “dressage queens”, eventers, showjumpers or even cowboys and girls progress through the week towards the Friday Gymkhana. Here, parents can come and cheer as the kids show their paces in pony club style events that demonstrate the skills they have learnt during the week.
Whether their strengths be general horse management, riding, sporting or jumping, fun and goodwill towards others shine as they vie for their share in the swags of ribbons during the day.
