Below is an outline of our tours all of which are eco-based, fully guided and interpreted by our highly qualified staff.
Evening Penguin Tours: Ever popular and a real favourite with visitors to the Victor Harbor area. Tours commence at dusk every evening. Your group, accompanied by our tour guide, will experience these fascinating creatures coming ashore after a day’s fishing. Various behaviours can be seen at different times of the year including chick feeding, nest building, courting and mating and moulting. Your guide will interpret the biology, ecology, behaviours and adaptations of the colony of Little Penguins.
 Below Decks Shark Oceanarium: A huge floating cage with a viewing platform on top, an underwater viewing room and sight pools on the deck, approximately 200 metres north of the screw pile jetty. Access is via a short boat ride on “Just Cruisin”. It offers visitors the opportunity to get up close and personal with some amazing creatures of the ocean. Some species that may be viewed include eagle ray, elephant fish, Port Jackson sharks, Wobbygong, Sea stars, Bronze Whaler sharks, and the list goes on...
Seafarer II Cruises: Whale watching (in season), Dolphin & Seal cruises and cocktail and sunset cruises in the bay. The Whale, Dolphin & Seal cruise is recognized as one of the most exhilarating and unforgettable tours you will have the opportunity to enjoy and are regular participants in all of our sea tours.
The Southern Right whales visit Encounter Bay during the winter months, generally from June through to October. These majestic giants of the sea visit the area to mate, birth and rear their young.
On the Rocks Bistro: Dine on the water’s edge overlooking the beautiful sea views of Victor Harbor through to Goolwa. A la carte lunch or dinner are available with our main focus on fresh local seafood. We cater for the kids with a special children’s menu.
