Ever worry about what could happen to your packed valuables when your luggage leaves your possession, or even what could be placed into your luggage? Luggage with zippers can still be opened even when locked; it is not difficult to insert a sharp object into a zipper and prize it apart. The innovative Safeluggage product is a patented system of anti-tamper labels designed to keep your possessions safe and prying hands out. Each sheet of labels has a unique reference code to be matched up to the reference label you keep with you and your travel documents. The labels have a tough adhesive to ensure they are kept in place on fabric or hard luggage and, as the labels are designed with your security in mind, they cannot be removed or tampered with without you immediately knowing.
An innovation patent has been accepted for the product and the product itself has the following features: - The sheet of labels is 148mm x 210mm (A5 size) - Each sheet contains 4 anti tamper adhesive labels and 1 reference label to keep with the person - The 4 anti tamper labels on each sheet have a unique reference code printed on them to prevent a label being replaced by another person. A reference label is also provided to attach to travel documents. This enables the passenger to cross check the reference numbers when collecting their luggage - The labels have an aggressive adhesive so they will attach to most styles of bags, including canvass. They also have security die cuts strategically placed through them so the label can not be removed without it becoming noticeably damaged - The cost of each sheet is $7.95. This gives 4 luggage labels and one reference label
Luggage with zippers can still be opened even when locked... It is not difficult to insert a sharp object into a zipper and prize it apart. For luggage with 2 zipper tabs, they are then moved from one end of the opening to other and the zipper closes again – even with a lock in place. The labels are attached next to the zipper tabs after they have been closed to prevent the tabs being moved from the side without breaking the seal.
The label can also be used on hard luggage.
