After sell-out seasons in 2018, Sugar Republic is back on February 10th with a whole new flavour in Myer Melbourne and for the first time ever, in Myer Sydney!
Sugar Republic is an incredible pop-up Insta-museum dedicated to the celebration of desserts, candy and all things sweet through a series of amazing sensory rooms.
For Sydney-siders, it’s their first chance to taste the candy with this amazing pop-up launching at the Myer George Street store. For Melbournite’s there’s a fresh sweet-spot with a whole raft of amazing new installations and visual eye-candy to excite the senses.
Take your pick; but either way, don’t miss out!
Relive your childhood as you visit a classic Milk Bar, splash about in a giant bubblegum ball pit and step inside an adult-sized cookie house made from giant Arnott’s biscuits. Visit the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Garden bought to life with a new twist.
Take a swing surrounded by fairy floss, dance inside a giant gum ball machine and pose for a sweet selfie in a pink tearoom or Valentine’s chocolate room.
Other attractions include favourites such as the huge sugar-themed neon installation, giant birthday cake, ‘press for confetti’ button and sweet art by local artists.
Opening on the 6th floor in Myer Bourke Street and Myer George Street on February 10th, Sugar Republic is open for a limited 12-week season and is a truly unique experience for adults and kids alike.
For the first time also, they will be holding Adults Only nights on Thursday and Friday nights for 18 years plus and launching a sweet themed Sugar Republic Café where you can indulge your senses even further.
It’s next year’s ‘must see’ exhibition for anyone who ever hit a sugar high, slammed a Tim Tam or jumped for joy at the sound of a Mr. Whippy van- so don’t miss out!
