 Moorlands is one of Australia's most prominent and successful Hereford and Red Angus studs, founded in 1944. Together with it's sister property "Rosalie Plains", it covers just under 5000 acres of picturesque undulating plains and bushy ridges.
Go horse or 4 wheel bike riding, help check for new born calves, take a picnic on the billabong, spot kangaroos and koala, swim in the dam or pool or have a game of tennis. What you want to do at Moorlands Farmstay is totally up to you.
Moorlands Farmstay offers elegant living in the choice of two homesteads surrounded by prize winning gardens and sweeping views. The two homesteads can cater for up to 12 people.
 At Moorlands Farmstay, guests can do as much or as little as they wish. Those adventurous can go horse riding or try your hand at riding a four-wheel motor bike. A bush walk or birdwatching are also options. All guests are taken on a property tour spotting wildlife such as kangaroos and koalas. In season it is common to come across new born calves.
Those wanting a getaway from the “rat race” can relax and enjoy the abundant birdlife in the gardens while reading a book. Wander around the acres of prize-winning gardens or enjoy a dip in the pool or a game of tennis.
