Carnival Cruises

Meet the cruise line that welcomed the quirks of Dr Seuss on board to help entertain kids, introduced innovative concepts like Hasbro, The Game Show on Carnival Legend, and even created a special ‘selfie’ app for snap-happy sailors.

Indeed, families that set sail with Carnival can rest assured they’re in for a good time. The recent arrival of its new marinethemed kids’ club, Camp Ocean, has only added to the fun young ones will find on board, entertaining those aged two to 11 in three age-specific groups.

Activities are all designed to be educational and engaging, with everything from boat-making to sea salt art and ocean bingo. When Legend returns to the waters in August after a major dry dock, it will also encompass new Dive-In Movies at its Seaside Theatre, allowing families to enjoy blockbuster action and comedy from the comfort of their deck chair, or from the waters of the mid-ship pool!

Carnival Cruise Lines offers something for the entire family to enjoy. Parents and children alike will discover the many activities offered for all ages. Parents will enjoy Spa Carnival, the Fun Shops, the Art Gallery, working out at the gym, award-winning productions, dining at the Supper Club and much more.

Children will enjoy age appropriate activities like games, story telling, painting, on deck sport events, discos, scavenger hunts, karaoke, trivia contests and much more.

In 2016 Carnival will launch the brand-new Carnival Vista. This revolutionary new vessel will be kitted out with family-friendly credentials like the high-altitude, pedal-powered SkyRide and the first-ever IMAX Theatre on a ship. Families wanting to use their getaway as a chance to explore Down Under are also in luck. Carnival’s 2016-17 programme offers plenty of fun that is closer to home, from five-night Tasmanian escapes to four-night sailings to Moreton Island or the Sunshine Coast.
