New air service makes Mauritus more accessible for Sydney and Brisbane families.
A new air service giving a direct link between Mauritius and Sydney will slash 12 hours off the return flight-time for holidaymakers from Sydney and Brisbane to this Indian Ocean paradise making this destination both more accessible and affordable to reach.
Prior to this travellers from these two cities have had to fly by domestic carriers to Melbourne to join Air Mauritius for its weekly flight that goes from Melbourne to Perth and then on to Mauritius.
From March 30 the airline will introduce a new service with its own Airbus A340-300 that will fly from Sydney to Melbourne, and then direct from there to Mauritius – with the return flight flying a speedy direct 10.5hrs Mauritius-Sydney.
This is one of the most family friendly destinations we at Holidays with Kids have visited. To read a family review on Mauritius click here.
Mauritius is a beautiful family destination that has been in vogue with British and French families for a long time now. If you are planning a trip to Europe, the new flight paths offer this as a stopover.. The climate, geographic beauty, friendliness of the people, and cuisine that is rooted in the traditions of our Creole, French, Dutch, Asian and English heritage, all make for a very different and price-affordable holiday."
A range of new value-priced fly/stay holidays from Sydney and Melbourne will be announced soon.
